Print Technology for 3D-Printing

The Institute for Printing Technology IDT Burgdorf performs industry-oriented R&D of digital printing and dosing technologies for a wide range of materials

IDT focuses on the development of dispensing technologies and printing system design in a wide area of 3D printable materials such as photopolymers, thermopolymers, bio inks, ceramic charged inks, starch, fat, cellulose, wax, wood.

In process development and automation we focus on the development of fluid sensors and image processing systems as well as the optimization of printing processes including rheological investigations. We also develop printing platforms and dropwatchers.
